Hi Everyone,
Angelo sent us the reading list for this Fall's seminar. He encourages us to get started now:
Listed below are the primary texts to prepare for the Mercy Weekend.
-
The Red Book. (The more
economically priced reader's edition is now available. And, while the Big
Book is stunning, this one will do for ou purposes)
-
The
chapter in Memories,
Dreams, Reflections entitled, "Confrontation with the
Unconscious."
- Answer to Job
The
secondary material around Jung and Spirituality is profuse, rich, and
exhausting beyond imagining. I will probably put together an interesting
bibliography for circulation at the weekend, and go over some significant
titles. Authors like M. Stein, J. Dourley, E. Edinger, A. Ulanov, R.
Sardello are some of the heavy lifters. But, that would only be a start into
who and what is out there on this topic. With that said, I always
feel there is no substitute for reading Jung. The three titles listed are
all challenging, but promise a great return to the committed investor.
Looking forward to reconnecting with you in the Fall,
Paula
